C-Hawkk Properties, owned and operated by Clint Shelton, was recognized during the Eudora USD 491 Board of Education meeting tonight for its exceptional commitment to supporting Eudora Schools. Board of Education member Kelley Woods expressed appreciation for Mr. Shelton and his team, highlighting their long-standing efforts to strengthen the Eudora community through both business leadership and school partnerships.

Shelton, a 1994 Eudora High School graduate, took over leadership of C-Hawkk Properties when his family’s construction business was acquired by another company. While the construction side transitioned to new ownership, Clint assumed responsibility for the property management division, continuing and expanding the work already underway. What began with a few local holdings has grown into a full-scale property management company with over 125 units across the region, many right here in Eudora.

The Eudora Schools Foundation and district leadership highlighted the many ways C-Hawkk Properties has supported students and staff, including:

• Partnering with the Foundation to support Eudora families in crisis through flexible and timely housing assistance.
• Offering generous financial contributions to support ESF programs.
• Maintaining an open-door relationship with the Foundation to partner on need-based opportunities.
• Modeling a business philosophy centered on trust, integrity, and quiet generosity.
   

C-Hawkk Properties is also deeply rooted in the district as a parent partner. Two of Clint’s children are attending Eudora Schools, and he has valued the meaningful opportunities they’ve received. He is especially supportive of the middle school enrichment programs like Grill Masters Club, Hunter Safety, and the Foundation’s financial literacy simulations, which provide practical, real-world lessons for 8th & 10th grade students across the district.

The Eudora Schools Foundation honors local businesses and community organizations that contribute to and partner with Eudora Schools. Each fall, schools nominate a business to be recognized for their contributions and their commitment to the students and staff in our district.

Founded in 2006, the Foundation exists to enhance the quality of education through partnerships with the community. Expenditures are primarily directed toward enhancing classroom instruction and impacting the broadest number of Eudora students.
