From helping at events to mentoring students or joining a committee, volunteers are at the heart of our work. Opportunities vary by time, interest, and availability—whether you're in the classroom or behind the scenes, we’d love your help.
Our volunteers are community members, parents, college students, high school students, business partners, and community organizations. Our volunteers offer their support to Eudora Schools initiatives including, Cardinal LinkUP Mentor Program, enrichment programs, in libraries, and in classrooms.

Cardinal LinkUP Mentor
A mentor is a member of the community who is willing to volunteer their time to interact with a student with the goal of helping him or her achieve personal, academic, and career exploration goals. A mentor is a friend, resource, and guide. There are two components to Cardinals LinkUP Program 1) Group meetings once a month before school from 7:30-8 a.m. and 2) one-on-one meetings with student and mentor will be encouraged one to three times per month throughout the year before school or during lunch. All contact with the mentor is restricted to school grounds.
