2024 ESF GIVE DAY ACHIEVED EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS: $70,000 RAISED

The Eudora Schools Foundation (ESF) has raised more than $70,000 from the fourth-annual ESF Give Day on March 5th. The total includes donations received from February 1st to March 8th.

Friday, March 22, 2024; Eudora, KS: The Eudora Schools Foundation (ESF) has raised more than $70,000 from the fourth-annual ESF Give Day on March 5th. The total includes donations received from February 1st to March 8th.

“Each Give Day our donors have allowed us to give back to Eudora students and teachers in innovative ways to help enhance the learning experience,” said Denise Dietz, ESF Board President, "This year we had a big goal so we could do even bigger things and this great community made that happen. We cannot thank them enough for your support and commitment to invest in our Eudora kids."

The amount raised includes $14,500 in matching gifts from campaign sponsors – LRG | Wendy’s, BCI Mechanical, Westerhouse Heating & Cooling, MainStreet Credit Union, The Garland Company, Central Trust Company, Mateo Chiropractic, Building Controls, InterState Studios, INTRUST Bank, Cornerstone Properties, Kye Branine with Edward Jones, Scott Rice Education Solutions, DCS Services, and Ranjbar Orthodontics. In addition, more than $5,000 was donated from student coin drives across the district.

The ESF works closely with administration and teachers to set funding priorities with the overall goal of enriching student experience, rewarding teaching excellence, and working to make our Eudora schools the very best.

“Together, our community is crafting a future where every Eudora child has the resources and opportunities to excel,” said, Shanda Hurla, ESF Executive Director. “This journey towards realizing ambitious educational goals and providing innovative learning experiences is truly a collective effort. We are deeply thankful for this support and remain committed to using these resources wisely, fostering classroom innovation, and advancing district-wide initiatives for the benefit of our students and teachers."

The Eudora Schools Foundation is a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) that generates resources, builds relationships, and champions public education in Eudora public schools. Founded in 2006, the Foundation exists to enhance the quality of education through partnerships with the community.
